Hello! I’m Nicole.
Before forming Gurley Long-Term Care Insurance, I gained experience essential to understanding the importance of long-term care planning as an executive in healthcare, insurance and financial services.
My front-row seat to the realities of paying for long-term care motivates me to help you create a plan to minimize the risk of long-term care expenses. I know this is the most important work I’ve ever done. Mom died at age 88 after 14 years of dementia. Dad died at 102, never needing a day of care. Our family was lucky. They had long-term care insurance.
PARTNERING WITH FINANCIAL ADVISORS
TO SECURE CLIENTS’ FINANCIAL FUTURES AGAINST LONG-TERM CARE COSTS
I work with hundreds of financial advisors throughout the country who, like me, are concerned about long-term care and its financial, emotional, physical and psychological impact on clients and their families.
Along with serving as president and chair of the Financial Planning Association of Greater Phoenix, I also hosted the radio program, Planning Past 50 … It’s more than just your money!
I’ve lived in a lot of states – California, Utah, Washington, Massachusetts, Iowa, Arizona – some several times. I’m in Arizona to stay. I dislike cold weather and love the prickly flora and native fauna of the Sonoran Desert. I am my mother’s child, a collector of fine china. She had twelve sets. I’ve pared down to eight but have plenty of room for more!
I enjoyed 38 years with my husband, Michael, before losing him to a sudden heart attack. Like many of you, I do not have family close by to rely on for long-term care. Nor would I want to burden them with my care. As a result, I do have a plan in place.
